Case Studies

Single Family Home
Community Systems

The Hills of Rosemont in Chatham County NC is an exclusive neighborhood with homes ranging in the $2M - 6M. Every home in the neighborhood has it's own AdvanTex and drip irrigation system. The first AdvanTex system was installed in 2003 and is still working like a charm. All new homes are constructed using AdvanTex systems as well. AQWA sells and operates all systems in the community, giving residents one place to call with any of their needs.

Rosemont has some of the most challenging soil conditions one can find.

Coastal Rental Homes

AQWA has hundreds of AdvanTex systems serving rental homes on the coast of NC. Most are 6-12 Bedroom rentals. Locally supplied concrete tanks are used as well as 2-3 AdvanTex AX20's. The majority of systems disperse effluent into a very small gravel pad. AQWA has supplied and maintained systems for homes such as these since 2002.

AX MAX

AQWA recently began selling the all new Orenco AX MAX system. This is an all in one "packaged" wastewater treatment plant. It can be customized for any flow or strength of waste. The first system installed in the Carolinas serves an RV Park in Cedar Point NC. It includes some of the parks original tanks as well as two 42' AX MAX units. Approximately 12,000 gallons per day are treated in these two units. The system was pre-plumbed and pre-wired. Most of the installation occurred in a single day. Effluent is safely dispersed into a small drip irrigation system. The system was installed in 2013.

AX20 RT

We have had a number of "RT" installations in the Raleigh Durham area. We have several others permitted and installed in other areas of the state. These packages are a combined recirculation tank with an AdvanTex system. The speed and ease of installation is great for the installer and the small footprint is attractive to property owners. AX20 RT's have typically been installed instead of large single pass and recirculating sand filters. The RT's take up less room, work longer, and are cheaper to boot. It's a bit of a no-brainer.
